1. Introduction
This Submission Agreement (“Agreement”) governs all content uploaded or submitted to JayHooray Studios (“we,” “us,” “our”) through jayhooray.com and all connected platform experiences. By uploading or submitting content, you (“Creator,” “Public Submitter,” “you,” “your”) agree to the terms outlined below.
JayHooray Studios is a sovereign creative platform and studio ecosystem. We are not a publisher obligated to accept, promote, or feature any upload or submission.
This Agreement applies to:
- Creators, who upload directly into the platform
- Public Submitters, who submit content through the public submission system
These two paths operate differently and are defined below.
2. Ownership of Your Content
You retain full ownership of all original content you upload or submit. Uploading or submitting content does not transfer ownership to JayHooray Studios.
3. License You Grant to JayHooray Studios
By uploading or submitting content, you grant JayHooray Studios a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free license to:
- review (public submissions only)
- display
- publish
- feature
- promote
- archive
- and distribute
your content within the Hooray Platform.
This license allows your content to appear in:
- creator lanes (Creators only)
- the library
- categories
- platform features
- internal systems
- promotional materials for the platform itself
You may delete your creator uploads at any time. Deleting an upload revokes JayHooray Studios’ license to display or feature that content, except where the content has already been used in official platform materials such as:
- promotional graphics
- thumbnails
- cinematic displays
- category art
- platform trailers
- featured placements
- curated collections
- official platform announcements
Once used in these materials, removal does not retroactively revoke the license for those specific assets.
Public submissions cannot be deleted by the submitter. Public submissions remain part of the platform unless removed by JayHooray Studios for reasons such as broken links, guideline violations, or technical issues.
4. Creator Uploads (Direct Publishing)
Creators do not enter the submission workflow.
All creator uploads:
- publish instantly
- are placed automatically into the creator’s lane
- appear in the library
- may generate Momentum
- may be removed if they violate platform standards
Creators do not receive submission statuses such as Pending or Didn’t Make Rotation.
5. Public Submission Workflow
Public submitters use the submission system. Their content moves through three possible statuses:
5.1 Pending
The submission has been received and is waiting to be reviewed. A confirmation email is sent.
5.2 Approved
The submission has been accepted and added to the library. A notification email is sent.
5.3 Didn’t Make Rotation
The submission was not selected for the library at this time. A notification email is sent. Public submitters may submit again at any time.
Public submissions do not enter creator lanes and do not receive Momentum.
6. Broken Link Policy (Creators + Public)
If a submitted or uploaded link becomes unreachable:
- the content is removed from public view
- the item enters Broken Link status
- the uploader or submitter may fix the URL or re‑upload at any time
7. Submitter Responsibilities (Creators + Public)
By uploading or submitting content, you confirm that:
- the content is your original work or properly licensed
- you have the rights to upload or submit it
- it does not infringe on any copyright or trademark
- it does not contain harmful, illegal, or abusive material
- it does not violate platform standards
- it does not contain private or confidential information of others
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of your uploads or submissions.
8. Platform Rights
JayHooray Studios may:
- modify the platform
- update features
- adjust review processes
- redesign lanes
- remove or archive content
- decline submissions
- suspend or terminate creator accounts that violate rules
We are not required to provide explanations for editorial or platform decisions.
9. Content Removal
Content may be removed at any time for:
- quality issues
- safety concerns
- copyright violations
- guideline violations
- brand alignment
- technical or platform updates
- broken or invalid links
Creators may delete their own uploads unless the content has been integrated into platform materials. Public submitters may request removal at any time.
10. No Compensation
Uploading or submitting content does not entitle you to:
- payment
- royalties
- revenue share
- exposure guarantees
- employment
- partnership or collaboration
JayHooray Studios is not obligated to compensate creators or public submitters for uploads or submissions.
11. Liability
JayHooray Studios is not responsible for:
- loss of content
- submitter disputes
- user reactions
- platform downtime
- third‑party outages
- decisions made based on uploaded or submitted content
All uploads and submissions are made at your own risk.
12. Agreement Updates
We may update this Agreement at any time. Continued use of the platform means you accept the updated terms.
