Submission Statuses (Public Submitters Only)

These statuses show where public submissions are in the Hooray Platform’s review process. They are system markers, not personal judgments. Creators do not enter the submission workflow; their uploads publish instantly and are placed directly into their lanes and into the library.

1. Pending

Your submission has been received and is waiting to be reviewed.

Meaning:

• The platform has your content
• Nothing has been evaluated yet
• No action is required

Purpose: To confirm your submission is safely stored and ready for review.

Public submitters receive an email confirmation at this stage.

2. Approved

Your submission has been accepted and added to the library.

Meaning:

• Your content is live
• It appears in the library for people to explore
• It becomes part of the platform’s ecosystem

Purpose: To showcase content that aligns with the platform’s standards and direction.

Public submitters receive an email notification when their content is approved.

3. Didn’t Make Rotation

Your submission wasn’t selected for the library at this time.

Meaning:

• Your content is still yours
• It simply wasn’t chosen for this cycle
• You can submit again anytime

Purpose: To maintain platform quality and consistency without discouraging public submitters.

Public submitters receive an email notification when this happens.
